Title: Safety Manager

Our client, a 50+ year old stable and continually growing Gulf Coast based specialty environmental design and construction company, is seeking an experienced, energetic safety manager to administer their solid safety program and culture. The position also is quite attractive in that it is fully remote with occasional leadership in-person meetings in their home office.

Keys/Qualifications for success include:

• 5+ years' experience in managing a safety management program
• CSP, or ASP Certification highly desired
• Experience in either heavy civil/environmental or onshore oil and gas facilities construction
• Compliance experience with regulatory bodies including OSHA, EPA etc. related to construction activities
• Experience in maintaining safety systems/software including ISNetworld, Veriforce and PEC Premier Accounts
• Experience in leading injury and incident inquiries/evaluations
• Job site visit experience conducting safety audits
• Experience in management of company vehicle programs
• Outgoing personality/enthusiasm pro-actively creating networks with fellow safety professionals
• Experience in safety symposium short presentations highly desired
• Create materials/presentations enabling routine training to become more interesting/appealing to varied company personnel
• U.S. Citizen or U.S. Permanent Residency Required
• Clean driving record
